For my final project in my bookmaking class, I chose to create a book entirely from scratch, using traditional techniques to craft a hardcover with a French groove. I decided to make the book about my childhood and how I’m starting to forget it, searching for those childlike feelings and memories through nostalgia. I wrote the poem myself and incorporated old childhood photos, bringing everything together into a 16-page book.
